Sliedrecht, the Netherlands, 16 May 2008 Agresso AB, the Swedish subsidiary of Unit 4 Agresso, has announced that a framework agreement has been signed with Saab AB. The agreement entails Saab switching over to one common ERP solution for finances, reporting and project management in the entire corporate group - thereby replacing ERP solutions from all the major global vendors. "We are ready to take the final step in refining our business solution for the entire corporate group and in all the countries where we have larger own operations," says Görgen Johansson, Vice President, Business Group Controller at Saab AB. "The industry in which we partake is constantly changing. In order to maintain our competitive edge we need a flexible ERP solution that can easily be adapted to new circumstances, hence Agresso was the choice." SAAB will be one of Agresso AB's largest customers in the private sector. "We are very happy and proud that SAAB has chosen us to be their strategic partner," says Stig Kjønstad, Managing Director at Agresso AB. "Our collaboration with SAAB shows Agresso is an important actor for large, fast changing, international corporations. Our business solutions combined with our skill have proven to outperform all other ERP systems offered in this segment, not only functionality wise but most importantly its proven post implementation agility capabilities." Saab already uses Agresso's solutions widely across the organisation, but the new framework will mean that the remaining operations in Sweden as well as the international operations will all switch from their current systems to one common Agresso solution. First in line is Saab's operation in Australia, followed by the remaining parts within the parent company in Sweden.
