Sliedrecht, the Netherlands, 14 October 2008 Unit 4 Agresso reports a strong order intake in the third quarter 2008. Historically the third quarter shows low activity levels due to the summer period, but Q3 2008 showed an above average intake of significant new orders. The largest order was achieved in the public sector in France (> € 2 million). In the United Kingdom, the activity level was high and a number of significant orders (> € 1 million) were booked in both the public and private sectors. In addition, Benelux, Scandinavia and North America performed well in terms of order inflow and profitability. In the closing stages of the quarter, a large order (€ 850K) was signed in the health care industry in Spain. Results Q3*
Third quarter total revenue was € 95.7 million, an increase of 37% compared with the third quarter of 2007(Q3 2007, excl Coda: € 70.0 million). Pro forma**, the revenues grew in line with the forecasted range (7-10%). The EBITDA increased by 63% to € 16.8 million. The EBITDA Margin was almost 18%, compared with an EBITDA margin of 14% in the third quarter of 2007. Cash flow has developed as planned and the net debt position is comfortably within the agreed covenants. CFO Edwin van Leeuwen commented: "With the positive effects of the increased economics of scale and the increased percentage of recurring revenues, Unit 4 Agresso now has more predictable seasonality and visibility. Historically the summer period is always low in terms of profitability, especially because of the low utilization of consultants and lower order intake. A strong third quarter like this will reduce the dependency on Q4 and will reduce risks for the total profitability over the second half of the year.
