Agresso between the manufacturers of ERP better located of Western Europe according to IDC

Unit 4 Agresso, SAP and Microsoft are the ERP Solutions developers that more quota of market will obtain in Western Europe in the future according to a recent study of IDC.

According to these indices,  that compares the facility of the companies to obtain market and the opportunities that appear to them, is possible to be observed how 4 Unit Agresso is between the candidates to win the sector because their features adapt perfectly to the market situation.

“After the study, we could see that these three companies have, at the moment, the best aptitudes to gain more quota of market”, explains Bo Lykkegaard, IDC director of programs for the companies of European applications. On the other hand, INFOR has acquired GEAC and System Union, whose indices were poor in terms to acquire quota of market, which will harness their product in the sector, giving more importance to the vertical sectors thanks to the market strategies that the bought companies had.

7.5 billion dollars that ERP market would spend in 2005 (forecasted by IDC) have not been invested. The growth of 2.5% was lower than the market previsions, followed by the acquisition by Oracle of PeopleSoft and J.D.Edwards and to the reduction of the maintained economy of Italy. SAP dismissed 2005 like the unquestionable leader of the market to Western Europe.

In the study “Western European ERP Applications Competitive Analysis 2006”, it is shown the individual growth of the different countries from the West of Europe and the functional ranking of ERP manufacturers that are organized by countries, segments and size of the company.
